After his PhD in Computer Science (TH Karlsruhe) in the area of medical signal processing, Mr. Zerfowski joined the Robert Bosch GmbH. His 25 years’ experience in the automotive industry covers software engineering in different application domains.

During 2009-2015 Mr. Zerfowski worked for Bosch/ETAS abroad in India. Especially he had the position of the Managing Director of ETAS Automotive India Prv. Ltd.

From 2015 till 2018 Mr. Zerfowski was with a Bosch corporate technology department and was responsible for the Bosch corporate SW strategies in the automotive domain.

Since 2018 he is with 100% Bosch daughter ETAS GmbH and is responsible for Engineering Excellence across all SW development units within the ETAS GmbH. Additionally he is a driver (e.g. as a member of the EU Sherpa Group) for the industry wide transformation towards open source based ecosystems, esp. in the context of the Eclipse S-CORE project.
